Those timbers do look like they were used for a bridge. only bridge i remember is a little west of Raith. Perhaps they were changed out at some time and then dumped there. We used that concrete building for storage of shims, salt etc. Not sure if my father in law bought the station or used the other buildings lumber to renovate the old school to a home. I remember seeing the old wye , but it was really swamping to look.

Hi Allan.
Yes, those timbers looked a lot like bridge timbers that he been dumped there at some point. You’re going to see that trestle west of Raith soon enough…it’s in rough shape.
