Cameron Falls Station Nipigon River Bridge Parmacheene Station
The Nipigon River Bridge is located approximately one mile north of Parmacheene Station at Milepost 70.8/120.5.
Completed likely in 1913, its construction was a considerable undertaking. At 610 feet long and 40 feet high, it is the second longest structure on the line behind the Blende River Viaduct. The bridge’s six deck plate girder spans rest on five massive concrete piers, three of which sit directly in the turbulent waters of the river.
