Quorn

Petry Station Quorn Station Reba Station

Quorn Station was located near English River, ON at Milepost 122/64.1/122.6/92.7.

Situated slightly north of Quorn Lake (no indication which name came first), it was home to a water tank when the line opened in 1908. By 1919, the coal facilities from Oscar had been shifted here as well, and both would be available through 1945, likely until diesel engines appeared in between 1958 and 1961. A usual GTP Type “E” station was built in 1910 and remained until it was destroyed by fire in 1947.

Quorn and its siding remained on the line until it was abandoned in 1994.
