Postagoni Bridge
The Postagoni River Bridge (pronounced paws – TAH – gun – ee) is located just south of the communities of Macdiarmid/Biinjitiwabik Zaaging Anishnabek First Nation (formerly Rocky Bay First Nation) at Milepost 37.6. The bridge is 285 feet long, 45 feet high and its three spans rest on 2 concrete pillars. Costing $103,000, it was opened for traffic in 1924, shortly after nationalization and replaced an earlier wood trestle. Click here for its location.
