National Transcontinental Railway Armstrong Subdivision
The National Transcontinental Railway Armstrong Subdivision began in Armstrong, Ontario and made its way 138.65 miles to Graham, later Sioux Lookout, Ontario.
Part of the National Transcontinental District 2, it was bounded on the east by the Grant Subdivision, on the west by the Graham Subdivision and on the south via Superior Junction by the Grand Trunk Pacific Lake Superior Division. In 1924, it was renamed to the Bucke Subdivision and now joined the Kowkash Subdivision (later Caramat Subdivision) to the east, the Quibell Subdivision (later Redditt Subdivision) to the west and the Graham Subdivison to the south (later Quorn Subdivision in 1925 and back to Graham in 1931). In 1928, it was renamed to the Allanwater Subdivision which continues to today.
The western divisional point of Sioux Lookout was originally named Graham after George Perry Graham, the Minister of Railways and Canals at the time. It was renamed Sioux Lookout sometime in mid 1918.
