Unaka Pit
Unaka Station Unaka Pit Crystal River Bridge
Unaka Pit was located west of Unaka Station at Milepost 146.3/117.2.
The large ballast pit was attached to the line at the west end and stretched north of the grade. The 2000 to 2500 foot spur only appears on the 1915 timetable, but may have been in use at other times and was one of three in operation at the time, the others being Dona and Horne.
