Eva Lake Bridge Unaka Station Unaka Pit

Unaka Station was located near Silver Dollar, ON at Milepost 145.3/87.6/146.1/116.2.

Situated just west of Eva Lake, Unaka was home to the usual GTP Type “E” station, which was built in 1911 or 1914 (sources are conflicted) and eventually sold in 1963 (possibly later destroyed by fire). According to timetables, a water tank was installed in 1946 and in use until 1949, but was removed when the one at Milepost 143.5/114.5 was reactivated. The siding here was taken out of use in 1966 and the station itself was removed in 1973.
