Neebing River Culvert
Empire Junction Neebing River Culvert Moose’s Nose
The Neebing River Culvert is located southwest of Alba Station at Milepost 6.15/6.3/5.1.
Spanning a branch of the Neebing River, the 20-foot reinforced concrete culvert was constructed circa 1918 by the Carter Halls Aldinger Company of Winnipeg. It was part of a nearly $87,000 contract to upgrade the then Fort William Subdivision of the Canadian Government Railways, which included other structures such as the Strawberry Creek Bridge.
