Griff

East Oskondaga River Bridge Griff Station Horne Station

Griff Station was located near Finmark, ON at Milepost 45.7/46.3/16.5/16.7.

Griff was situated in Goldie Township and was home to a GTP Type “E” station that was constructed in 1911. The station was sold in 1960-1961 and by 1970 the siding had been taken out of use. Part of the siding remerged in 1982 as a 500-foot spur known as Spur GR 07 and was in use until 1984. In 1973, Griff was removed as a station but it was re-activated in 1986, albeit without a siding.

Griff remained on the line until it abandoned in 1994.
