Dona
Strawberry Creek Bridge Dona Station Dog River Bridge
Dona Station was located in Kaministiquia, ON on the east bank of the Dog River (also shown as the Kaministiquia River) at Milepost 26.4/27.2/26.
Dona was the first major stop on the line outside of Fort William. It boasted a GTP Type “E” station, water tank, 2956-foot siding, 723-foot spur and section house. While the grade and the station grounds have been obliterated by the modern Silver Falls Road, the foundation of the section house as well as the base of the water tank still remain. Several hundred feet north of the station was the Dog River Bridge.
