14 Dec

Video of the former Canadian Northern Railway/CN-Kinghorn Subdivision (MP 40-45) east of Jellicoe, ON. Features the 366-foot trestle over the Namewaminikan or Sturgeon River, referred to locally as the “44 Bridge.”

**Many thanks to Richard for the info about the catwalk and Maryann for the info about the derailment. You will notice the repair work done on the northwest side of the trestle due to the derailment. The metal catwalk and railing have been replaced with ones made of wood.

Part 6 of 7.

Active, 1914-2005.
